Promotion into action
CASE STUDY: SOCIAL WORK IN DEVON
Seeking to recruit new and experienced social workers to work in the county, Devon County Council commissioned Wide Eye to create a promotional film to appear on the dedicated recruitment website and on DCC’s own site.
Working with the council’s chosen recruitment agency we created a video that followed three social workers across an average day, dealing with and talking about the unique range of challenges they face working in Devon.
Charlotte Moss, Lead Officer for Recruitment and Retention (CYPS), Devon County Council, discusses the project in the video above.
You can view the whole of the recruitment film on our home page.
Advertising, promotion, PR, brand building, launches, product awareness or whatever flavour it takes; getting a dynamic and engaging message out about your product or service is vital.
Video has a knack of delivering even the most complex offerings in clear and exciting ways. And for businesses and organisations where the ‘people to people’ or the human factor is key, frankly video is supreme.
Digital video is extremely flexible. Use as a video podcast on your website or intranet site and as DVDs to give to your clients or to use on a plasma screen at an exhibition or event.
Social Work in Devon
Promoting social work job opportunities for Devon County Council, this video follows 3 professionals across an average day as they deal with and talk about the satisfaction and challenges of working with the County's most vulnerable citizens.
The Three 'R's
Video is ideal for capturing the complexity of what is in effect a whole community within a campus. This short promotional film sparkles with the character and charm of West Buckland School, its location and its pupils!
