Another 3D project just completed is for a music video animation. The new single ‘How will I know’ by Devon band ‘Fire at Sea’ required a a fun video with a bit of a beach / beach party theme. It was required to consist of 95% animation with just a few video inserts of live action. At more than four minutes long this meant that there was a lot of late nights and extensive rendering time to put the project together.
The storyline, 3D modeling, animation, effects and editing were all completed in-house. The main concept was to start with a lonely individual on a beach and gradually build up to the biggest, weirdest beach party you could imagine with ‘Buzby Berkley’ style dance routines and the strangest backing vocal chorus you could imagine. We think we’ve come up with goods.
Obviously 3D webvideo for corporate use is often on more serious subjects but this is a good example of how Wide Eye Communications could produce some lighter material that could be tuned to your corporate needs or to create a viral ad to draw in interest and visitors to your site.
